At World of Wonder Daycare Center, we strive to create a safe, educational, and friendly environment for the children under our care. We believe every child is unique. We give your child the tools to thrive cognitively, physically, and socially for a great head start in life.
Every child’s growth depends on patience, understanding, encouragement, and lots of love! Every day brings a new and exciting challenge for your little one to experience. We strive to create a playful and educational environment for your child from the moment you drop off to the moment they hug you at the end of the day.

A Letter From Our Owner
Hi There!
My name is Diane. I am a Jersey City mom, and the owner of World of Wonder daycare center (WOW) and Wowkids,LLC in Hoboken, NJ.
I spent a decade working in corporate America before taking the leap and opening up my own daycare business. After leaving my job at Merrill Lynch in late 2006, I dedicated a full year in 2007, researching the needs and logistics of childcare in the local community of Hoboken. Finally, on January 2nd, 2008, I had the pleasure of opening the doors to Word of Wonder Daycare Center.
My own personal journey into motherhood began as a first-time mom in June 2003. This is also when my internal conflict began as a working mother. I struggled between my wish to continue my work, feelings of guilt for not staying home with my daughter, and the worry of trusting someone else to care for her. The conflict was all too daunting and frustrating!
I was certain, however, that I would be a better mom, wife and friend if I continued in my role as a working mother. So, after years of struggling to strike the "right" balance between motherhood and work, a failed nanny experience, endless support from my husband, and research, the WOW family was created.
Personally, one of the most invaluable aspects of motherhood that I have discovered is the benefit of fostering a supportive social network around my family.
For this reason, my goal as a daycare owner is to make WOW your home away from home and to help you build a community where you are able to cultivate lifelong relationships for both you and your children. I believe that this undoubtedly helps families ease into this next chapter of their lives.
When I am not at work, you can find me spending time with my family in the quiet and peaceful mountains of the Poconos or dancing to the beat of Latin music in Zumba class!

Our Staff
World of Wonder Daycare strives to hire passionate, educated and informed staff members. We do more than simply hire. Each staff member becomes a part of our team and a part of the WOW community. We’ve developed a team that’s:
Caring and Nurturing
Each member of our staff loves working with children and has a passion for helping them flourish. We only hire people who believe in our mission. Every staff member is certified in CPR, First Aid, and the Heimlich Maneuver to ensure your child’s safety. If your child has any dietary or health concerns, we make sure we can fully accommodate their needs first.
Committed Long-Term
Our teachers and staff care about the community we are building at WOW. You’ll find that many of our team has been with us for years. This means your child will develop lasting, trusting relationships with the staff that will last throughout their journey at our daycare.
Educated
Every Head Teacher on our team holds a college degree to ensure your child gets the best education and enriching development. Every Teacher’s Assistant on our team holds a CDA and/or is working towards a bachelor’s degree.
Our Security
Your child’s safety is the highest of our priorities. It’s a privilege to be given your trust to care for your child, and we take that seriously. We’ve developed strict standards of security at our facility and on field trips.
Our Facility
The doors to WOW are locked at all times. We only unlock the doors for people we know. No exceptions. Parents can allow others to pick up their child only with written permission. We check IDs, and we only approve the pickup if the name exactly matches the one on the written permission.
Field Trips
When we take your child on exciting trips around the neighborhood, we follow strict procedures to keep your little one safe. We have a very low ratio of teachers to students, and continually check to ensure everyone is accounted for.
